Packaging Project Manager

As a Packaging Project Manager you'll have the following responsibilities and tasks:

  • To liaise effectively with client servicing and designers on design details necessary for defining the technical brief, timings, scheduling and allocating budgets in order to deliver the implementation stage to the full satisfaction of the client
  • Asses the printability of design concepts against the technical print constraints given and highlight any potential issues
  • To liaise with clients on timings and budgets to ensure that they are aware of pro-active project management
  • To liaise with clients to ensure we have the correct technical specifications and cutter guides prior to a project starting
  • To liaise with clients with regards to artwork sign-off before releasing artwork to printers
  • To liaise with repro-houses and printers on a regular basis, to ensure you have the correct technical specifications prior to a project starting
  • To ensure sufficient resource, book freelancers as appropriate and issue order forms
  • To organise all internal PPM’s and briefing meetings ensuring that all relevant parties are present
  • To keep the Creative Services & Operations Manager and Client Servicing Team updated on the status of projects at all times, in both written and verbal format
  • To ensure artwork and retouching is completed on time and within budget
  • To liaise with the Creative Services on resource and scheduling requirements
  • To assist the Creative Services Manager with photography, mock-up and archiving requirements
  • To create job folders for the Artworkers prior to a project starting
