This is a global creative and media agency built for the now. Born in social their work is now full service, simply loving big ideas that connect and create real change for their clients business. They are independently owned, founded in 2009.

They are creative and media in equal measure because both are equally important in developing effective communications. A lot of their work in-house (with their own production, edit and motion teams) because execution is key to effectiveness. They believe 100% that brands can be built on digital platforms and part of their model is built bottom up, flipping the traditional advertising model and process on its head. They don’t play to agency/industry norms and their culture and energy reflects that.


This agency is growing at a crazy rate. New York is the mothership, and they have offices in London, APAC (Singapore, Bangkok, Australia, Tokyo), LATAM (Mexico City) Los Angeles and Amsterdam has opened last year.


This agency in EMEA is flying. Their clients include TikTok Durex, Tinder, Kraft Heinz, WeWork, Indeed and Zalando among others. They have been running multiple local market campaigns - integrated media and creative, creative only, media only - across NL, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and there are more on the cards, which is why they are growing their presence in Amsterdam.


The Role

We’re looking for a (social/digital) Project Manager to work at the Amsterdam office. You’ll join an established team and help to continue to improve upon existing processes across workstreams, while continuing to expand the remit and growth of the account/s you work on.

You should ideally have an understanding of social media, comfortability and experience with digital production, coupled with the foundational project management skills to help support the day to day running of one of the agency's largest accounts.


Responsibilities

  • Own, operate and ensure the successful delivery of the project, to planned budget, scope and quality.

  • Organise communications to ensure smooth operating of the project, both internally and with the client throughout the project life cycle.

  • Management of project scope, with confidence in negotiating client discussions relating to changing circumstances including effort, resource, time and quality.

  • Carefully construct a program of work for the project team, with clear understanding of responsibilities and crafts owned by creative, media, production and client teams.

  • Develop planning artifacts (timelines, processes, task sheets etc) in order to ensure the project can continue to be clearly conveyed and understood by both the internal team, your direct report, and the client stakeholder.

  • Escalate through constructive means, any project risks, issues or concerns with clarified options for mitigation.

  • Utilise operational tools and teams (finance, resourcing) to ensure your project has the correct support to function successfully and that its bottom-line performance is being carefully tracked and reported.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Proficient in project management tools and systems

  • Numerate and operational in thinking on project performance and financial management of project bottom line

  • Able to manage multiple projects as a single programme

  • Takes a self-organising approach to project governance, utilising agency best practises and principles

  • Experience delivering integrated, digital and social campaigns with learning examples

  • Strategic in project approach, high acumen in factoring business opportunity and balancing risk and cost.

  • Has the ability to stay solution-oriented with cross-functional, cross-disciplined teams in a client-facing environment

  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-energy environment

  • Highly organised, detail oriented and adaptable

  • Excellent written and verbal communication to synthesise, plan and execute

  • Collaborative by nature and can help foster communication amongst the team.
