Ideal Candidate?

You’re a super experienced Senior Event Producer who is committed to excellence. You are an expert at handling multiple deadlines, delivering work on time, on budget and to an outstanding standard. You display excellent interpersonal skills and are a team player who motivates others. Naturally, you will remain calm when time is of the essence and the pressure is on!

 

With strong previous experience, you have a great knowledge of campaign strategy and live events. You are passionate about what you do and will always get stuck into projects striving to take them to the next level in terms of creativity. You are always willing to take on more responsibility for clients or for the agency but you understand when to seek support from senior staff and are willing to mentor other team members below you. A strong communicator at all levels, you are ambitious, inquisitive about the industry, solution focused but always willing to voice your ideas and opinions.

You are an expert in your client’s business in terms of their customers, products and services and will exceed their expectations in terms of the service you provide. They will trust you implicitly and see you as an extension of their business.

 

You actively network within the industry and often spot opportunities to engage people with this agency and the creative work they do in order to obtain a new business meeting or an opportunity to present their ideas on how to positively impact their business.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Managing new and existing accounts from strategy and pitch, to implementation and on the ground events.

  • Preparing, managing and reconciling budgets, continuous liaison with clients / stakeholders and managing their expectations, briefing, logistics and sourcing all other elements required for the event or activation.

  • Take briefs accurately demonstrating that you get brands and that you understand what the client is looking for because you have the experience and you are able to add tangible value to the process.

  • Penning client pitches, which support creative, innovative and strategic thought and direction. They want somebody who thinks outside the box, goes above, beyond and can deliver vision with passion and confidence.

  • Excellent writing and presentation skills for new business pitches, presentations, reviews & reporting.

  • Managing and delivering all elements of events and activations as well as the client accounts with the necessary level of responsibility, creativity, logical thought and accuracy.

  • You are good with numbers and can effectively manage projects to ensure margin and revenue opportunities are maximised and clients get value for money.

  • Build strong relationships with both your clients, and suppliers alike liaising with them on a day-to-day basis at senior level.

  • Execution of agreed strategy and planning with your line manager.

  • Maximising your contacts in the Events industry to bring in new business. You need to have the confidence to start new business conversations by writing the creative pitch and then delivering the projects.

  • Regular updates and liaise with other team members working on the client account as well as the multiple stakeholders.

  • A key element of the Senior Event Producer role is to follow and review internal processes and importantly, train and monitor junior members of the team to ensure these are implemented correctly

  • Be a point of escalation for both your clients and the team, lending support during complex situations and facilitating difficult conversations, where necessary

  • Regular check-ins with your line manager and project lead (if not you).

  • Ability to multi-task and manage all aspects of an event as well as lead projects and accounts confidently.

  • Handling all aspects of the administration of the client account in a professional and timely manner, ensuring deadlines are clearly managed and met.

  • Representing this agency and its clients in a professional manner at all times.


The Person

Ideally you will have 7+ years’ experience delivering excellent client service within an agency environment and, on joining their passionate team, you will take ownership of and assist on a number of accounts. You will be given every opportunity to grow and develop your career within an agency that dreams big.

  • Proven experience in directing and managing large-scale corporate events as well as brand experience activations.

  • Knowledge of the tech industry an advantage

  • Extensive budget management experience

  • Track record of delivering successful projects autonomously and on time

  • Strong corporate events background with hands-on experience producing and delivering a variety of events

  • Great, confident communication skills, on phone, in person and by email

  • Adaptable to different situations while working calmly under pressure to meet the needs of the client under tight deadlines

  • Passion and drive for the Experiential & Events industry

  • Great knowledge of a project lifecycle, from budget skills through to production

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Great experience in managing client relationships

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills

  • Proven track record of client and employer confidentiality

  • The ability to multitask, manage projects effectively and manage the expectations of others both internally and externally

  • Excellent computer skills, including Google suite and Microsoft suite

  • Be a real team player who wants to get stuck in

  • English language mandatory, Dutch a plus
